Nothing could be further from the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menopause is not a disease; it is a stage that can represent a third of our existence. However, the hormonal changes that characterize it can affect our health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regularly visiting the doctor provides the gynecologist with the opportunity to identify risk factors for the development of diseases, perform a complete physical examination, and recommend necessary additional tests. Specialized care, initiated early, has been associated with a greater sense of well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prevention and early treatment of cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis, obesity, genital organ atrophy, as well as genital and breast cancer, are the cornerstones of the comprehensive approach aimed at women's overall health.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>por \u00a0Dra.
