{"id":827,"date":"2022-07-24T21:55:21","date_gmt":"2022-07-24T21:55:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.ginecenter.com\/?p=827"},"modified":"2022-07-24T21:55:22","modified_gmt":"2022-07-24T21:55:22","slug":"gynaecological-laser-for-recurrent-vaginal-infections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ginecenter.com\/en\/laser-ginecologico-en-las-infecciones-vaginales-recurrentes\/","title":{"rendered":"Gynaecological laser for recurrent vaginal infections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Repeated vaginal infection is a frequent reason for consultation and becomes a real challenge for the treating physician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We seem to run out of options when we have a patient who, after several cycles of treatment with vaginal creams and vaginal ointments, comes back to us reporting that after short periods of improvement, the symptoms of itching, irritation and vaginal discharge have returned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the use of the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/laserginecologico.es\/equipos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gynaecological laser<\/a><\/em>\u00a0for other pathologies such as urinary incontinence and vulvovaginal atrophy, we found surprisingly, that those patients who underwent these treatments\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/laserginecologico.es\/tratamientos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">treatments<\/a>\u00a0and who were also suffering from recurrent vaginal infections, suddenly reported that they\u00a0<strong>were improving markedly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/ginecenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/yalix2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-829\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ginecenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/yalix2.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ginecenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/yalix2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ginecenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/yalix2-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La\u00a0\u00a0infecci\u00f3n vaginala repetici\u00f3n es motivo frecuente de consulta y se convierte en un verdadero reto para el m\u00e9dico tratante.
